Citroen Lacoste

Clothing company Lacoste is set to produce a quirky mode of transport born out of a playful tie-up with Citroen. The car, simply dubbed the Citroen Lacoste concept, is a real vision of the future where cars have no doors, roofs or windscreens, and have interiors inspired by retro arcade games.

The exterior is just as bonkers as is the interiors mad. With a windscreen that can be lowered completely which extenuates the rather bulbous waistline, no electric windows as there are no windows, it doesn't even have any front doors. And who needs a roof anyway. Instead, it has a T bone shaped structure that connects the front to the rear and uses an automatically inflatable hood that deploys to form a soft-top roof.

And if the style of the exterior is off the planet then just look at the funky interior.
The dashboard display is enormous spanning the width of the car. This relays information back to the driver via oversized icons, a definite nod to 8-bit video games.
